Terms of Service for Velantra

1. Introduction

Welcome to Velantra, a provider of business software development solutions under the domain velantrixx.com, located at Vancouver Public Library Central Branch, 350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 6B1, Canada. By accessing or using our offerings, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services

Velantra offers custom software development, project management, consulting, and training services ("Services"). All engagements require a signed agreement and deposit prior to scheduling. Due to the bespoke nature of our Services, fees become non-refundable once work commences. Clients may request to defer a scheduled Service by providing written notice at least seven days before the start date; deferred Services must be rescheduled within six months, subject to availability.

3. Digital Information Products

Velantra’s digital information products ("Infoproducts"), including online courses, instructional materials, and eBooks, are provided electronically. Purchasers have up to thirty days from the date of purchase to request a refund, provided they have not accessed more than one module or downloaded more than 20% of the content. After this period or usage threshold, all sales are final.

4. Goods

Physical goods such as branded merchandise and hardware accessories ("Goods") may be returned within fourteen days of delivery for a full refund, if returned in original, unopened condition. Clients are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds for defective items include prepaid return labels and replacements where available.

5. Refund Policy

  • Services: Payments are non-refundable once work begins. Deferred scheduling is available as described above.
  • Infoproducts: Refunds are issued to the original method of payment within fourteen days of approval. Requests must be submitted via the contact form.
  • Goods: Refunds are issued upon receipt and inspection of returned Goods, typically within seven business days. The original method of payment will be credited.

6. No-Refund Justification

Custom software development Services and certain consulting engagements are bespoke and resource-intensive, involving dedicated team time, specialized expertise, and planning. To maintain quality and fairness for all clients, these Services are not eligible for refunds once work has commenced.
